The device has been available for pre-orders for a few days now and its pricing and availability have also been known prior to launch. Notably, the India launch takes place two days ahead of its global availability on August 24. The Galaxy Note 9 is the successor to last years Galaxy Note 8 and comes with a bigger display, battery while bringing the best of 2018 hardware under-the-hood.The Galaxy Note 9 comes to India following the Galaxy S9 and S9+. The new Note can be seen as a mix of the Note 8s design aesthetics and the S9+s hardware. We reviewed the Galaxy Note 9 and found it to be a stellar upgrade and probably the companys best flagship to date thanks to an attractive Infinity Display, powerful hardware, best-in-class cameras and a larger battery, among other things. The S Pen gets Bluetooth support as well which makes it even more useful than before.Samsung Galaxy Note 9 India price and availabilitySamsung officially announced that the Galaxy Note 9 is priced in India starting at Rs 67,900 for the base model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The top-end variant with a 8GB + 512GB configuration will cost you Rs 84,900. The flagship will be offered in three colours – Midnight Black, Ocean Blue and Metallic Copper. It will be available to buy via Samsungs online store and Flipkart as well as across offline retail partners.Samsung Galaxy Note 9 specifications and featuresThe Galaxy Note 9 brings the largest display yet for a Samsung phone. It sports a 6.4-inch screen with QHD+ (2960×1440) Super AMOLED Infinity display. The phone gets Gorilla Glass 5 protection on both the front and back, also allowing for wireless charging support. Additionally, the flagship brings a dual rear camera setup with the fingerprint sensor now placed just below.advertisementThe India variant of the Galaxy Note 9 gets Samsungs flagship Exynos 9810 chipset. This is coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and a whopping 512GB of internal storage. The stylus has a supercapacitor that lasts for about 30 minutes and can charge up in a matter of seconds.Samsung Galaxy WatchAlongside the Note 9, Samsung also announced the Galaxy Watch. The new smartwatch moves away from Samsung’s Gear-branded smartwatches of old. This is notably part of the company’s efforts to bring its diverse products under the Galaxy umbrella. The Galaxy Watch highlights an AMOLED display with high resolution, Gorilla DX+ Glass on top and an Always-On Display. The smartwatch is water resistant so you can take it for a swim. The smartwatch will also track your sleep patterns and will provide a data on how well you’ve been sleeping. It also gets 21 new indoor exercises for a total of 39 workouts.
